Make tab bar visible by default?

After having had trouble with tabs getting detached by accident and not knowing how to reattach them, and also being frustrated with not being able to group all my channels into two main windows as I wish, I finally just now found out in #colloquy on irc that it was possible. The solution was to check "always show tab bar" in the preferences. Simple though that sounds, it had not occurred to me to try this.

My suggestion is to make the tab bar always visible by default, and then manually de-checking it if desired. Having it visible by default would make it even more userfriendly to us non-expert users, and it would be simple to change if one did not wish to show the tab bar.
