Description
There's no way to have alerts which do not distract, but have an opportunity to remind you about IRC when you have some free time. If I'm hacking on something and don't look at IRC, I've got three choices: set up persistent growl alerts (which clutter up the screen and distract me), enable dock icon bouncing (which is extremely distracting) or don't set up any alerts, which often results in me forgetting about messages until the end of the day, even if I had free time before. Many applications (Adium, Mail.app, NetNewsWire and others) use dock icon badge-style counters to mark unread events in a non-distracting manner and I'd like to have the same functionality in Colloquy.
