Description

I'd like to have the scrollback automatically marked, at least on all non focused chats and ideally even on the focused chat when colloquy doesn't have focus.

New colloquy user (both desktop and iphone). Wanted to throw in some support for this ticket. Coming from mIRC, I miss the feature (working on a mirc-ish style that i'll be uploading shortly, btw) :)

Adding my support for this as well. This feature would prevent a user from having to remember to manually set the mark in each channel before switching away. Very useful when participating in several busy discussions.

I bring this ticket up again because Adium added this functionality in their 1.4 release, and even gave a shout out to Colloquy in their release notes:

Added marking to the scroll bar like in Colloquy:
- When your name (or what you decide to highlight) is mentioned in a chat, a grey line is added.
- When the window or tab loses focus, a red line is added and you can "Jump to Focus Mark" to easily go to it.
- You can access the "Jump to Previous Mark", "Jump to Next Mark" and "Jump to Focus Mark" by right-clicking the scroll bar, or from the new Display menu.

The second item in that list is the functionality requested in this enhancement ticket. Colloquy already has the other two covered.
