Problems with Mobile Colloquy

I have an odd issue with Colloquy on the iPhone 3G. Been trying for a couple of days to solve the problem to no avail. I hope you can help.

Essentially I can connect fine, to our company IRC channel, via psyBNC. I can view the channel fine, and see any new content in the channel.

What isn't right though, is when I try to type in the channel. Colloquy informs me it is still connecting and to wait. No amount of waiting though ever changes this. I can view the channel fine but I cant type into the channel.

As a sidenote the connections screen always shows the connection as a yellow dot. I assume if all worked 100% it would go green. Never seen that yet.
