Can't send or receive files through dcc

akempgen: [...] not sending any dcc commands maybe

My client seems to refuse to dcc. Neither sending nor receiving works. akempgen tried sending a file passively which didn't work either.
I did see the accept-button (in both active and passive sending), and when I clicked on it, the file transfer window opened -- only to see that the download won't start.
When triggering a download from a bot, it will tell me the following: "You have a DCC pending, Set your client to receive the transfer." Adding the bot to the dcc-allow list doesn't help.

The problems started after I downloaded the newest update of Colloquy some days ago. I'm using a Mac 10.4.11.

10.4 is no longer supported. Please reopen if this happens with 10.5 or 10.6.
