Description

gabor: using broom and switching in another room swiftly results in complete display fubar. known bug?
[21:35] akempgen: gabor: not sure
[21:35] akempgen: gabor: but 10.4 is old
[21:36] gabor: it is, and this is a slow machine. but the bug is really prominent and annoying
[21:36] akempgen: gabor: what im saying is: if its caused by the old webkit version on 10.4, then its not fixable
[21:37] akempgen: but feel free to file a ticket
[21:38] gabor: aha, not sure it is webkit. if I wait until the broom symbol gets unhighlighted (done) the problems do not appear
[21:38] gabor: it seems to be some race for the display context
[21:39] akempgen: possible

More info: sometimes the broom symbol is highlighted for a second or so, giving me plenty of time to click into the tab of another channel. This will not be displayed correctly, enforcing redraw by hiding with another window, brings some of the pane to view. The scrollbar is greyed, inactive. Redraw is dead.

Only quitting and relaunching helps.

This has nothing to do with fixing whatever the bug is, but:

Whenever I've had a won't-redraw glitch, minimizing the window to the Dock fixes it.
