Closing last chat room in list should select second last

If I have several chats open in the drawer and I close the last one, it selects the top one.

I would much prefer if instead it selected the now last chat.

That way, selecting last chat manually and repeatedly doing cmd-W (close) would go up through the list, as I think is sort of standard (i.e. that one can delete from the last entry up through the list).
