private-chat tabs "disappear"

When someone /query's me, and I click the tab for their message, it bounces out of the window it's in, and into a new window (which, by the way, is hidden behind the first). Net effect, I get a fleeting glance at the message, and then it "disappears."

Not sure exactly when this started, but I think it was more recently than when I last updated colloquy (2D9). I've been tracking Tiger builds lately (now on 8A393), and I think the most likely trigger for the change is probably that.

It occurs to me I should mention my configuration settings, which are relevant here after all:

Joined Chat Rooms: Group with other Chat Rooms
New Private Chats: Group with Chat Rooms
Chat Transcripts: Open in current window
Server Consoles: Open in a new window
[x] Sort Chat Room members by status
[x] Use tabbed windows instead

I have a similar effect occuring with 2D14 and similar configuration. I've noticed tabs will reappear if I drag one around as I do to group certain channels in a manner not supported by Colloquy prefs. This happens when joining new channels, sending and recieving private messages, or just in normal channels when I move a tab - it'll just flat out disappear. So basically any movement of tabs is triggering this although the occurrence of the bug seems somewhat random eg it doesn't happen every time you move a tab - just most of the time.

10.4 on a dual 1.25 wind tunnel here. Also was happening with nightly builds as of 5/4/05.

Should be fixed since we now tile windows with an offset.
