File Transfers Don't Send

During a private chat (initiated by the other guy's /query),

1. I clicked "Send File", selected "Picture 1.png" from the desktop, and send.
2. Other guy (colloquy 2C11) accepted the transfer.
3. Then, he gets nothing.
4. Meanwhile, my "File Transfers" window claims he's trying to send me "Picture .png", which he denies

When the dust settles:

1. File Transfers shows a red-and-yellow triangle next to my attempted send
2. File Transfers shows a download arrow next to his "Picture .png"
3. File Transfers says "nothing uploaded yet / nothing downloaded yet" (which last part appears to be accurate)
4. Clicking on the down load shows a still-counting clock (40 minutes and counting)
5. I do indeed have a "Picture .png" on my desktop, but it's zero-length

I am running Tiger 8A393. He is running some released Panther.

Make sure your router and his router has the ports open that are set in Colloquy's File Transfer prefs. Please try with the 3/11 nightly. Reopen if this issue still occurs.
