password sent to nickserv after join on connection, not able to join restricted channels

currently, when using the nick/password box for a connection, the message to identify with nickserv occurs after the initial join when connecting. When channels to join include those that are restricted if you do not have a valid nick, they are skipped and have to joined manually on every start up.

Tthe only workaround I have found is to add the /msg nickserv identify PASSWORD into the commands section of the connection, which occurs before joining any channels.
